Date: Tuesday, 9 February 2027
Venue: Cadogan Hall, Chelsea, London
Greek conductor Michalis Economou opens the Beethoven 200 series with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Cadogan Hall, marking two centuries since the composer’s death.
The first concert pairs the Leonore No. 3 Overture and the Piano Concerto No. 5, the Emperor, with pianist Elizabeth Sombart, and closes with the Eighth Symphony. It is a good evening out for anyone in the Greek community who follows Greek musicians on the international stage.
The performance runs for about one hour 45 minutes including an interval. Concessions and series discounts are offered by the box office.
