Date: Thursday, 12 November 2026
Venue: The Hellenic Centre, Marylebone, London
Artist Vasilis Papageorgiou joins curator Dr Marianna Tsionki at the Hellenic Centre to talk about the new work he is developing during his residency at Gasworks.
The conversation looks at his research into the Yorkshire mining industry and the miners’ strikes of the 1970s and 80s, and gives a preview of his 2027 exhibition at Leeds Arts University. His practice connects the body, architecture and landscape, with a sculptural language drawn from coastal architecture.
Entry is free, but booking is required through Humanitix or by phone with the Hellenic Centre.
